The Voters registration process will today commence for the forth-coming 2019 Students' Union election in Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU). The list of successfully registered voters will thereafter be published on Thursday, while the elections itself will hold on Friday, the 27th of September 2019.

Accordingly, students who intend to vote are required to note the following:
(1) If you don’t register, you will not be eligible to VOTE on Election Day – Friday, 27/09/2019.
(2) If you have not paid your school fees and done your Course Registration, you will not be eligible to REGISTER.
(3) Online Voters Registration starts 8:00am Monday (23/09/2019). It will end 11:59pm on Wednesday (25/09/2019).
(4) To register, point your web browser (opera, operamini, chrome, Firefox, IE, etc) to www.aksu.edu.ng/su/registration. Supply your Matriculation number. Provide a valid email address, a valid phone number and click the “VERIFY DETAIL” Button. After verification, a One Time Passcode (OTP) will be sent to the phone number provided during registration. Enter the OTP sent to your phone to complete the registration.
