On a more serious note, i think your best option is to just format the system directly and install a new fresh Os. You should be more concerned about the hardware of your PC, because this is the first time i am seeing a virus disabling a computer hardware.

The designer of the payload is a wicked one. Although to block input from mouse and keyboard is simple as coding 5 lines in c++ programming. I used to play with it when i started learning in 2010

I can help you with that if you have access to 8gb USB flash drives, a copy of windows cd or image another PC

Format or sell it off. Maybe it's a sign of u getting a new one

Mine was infected with trojan virus. I don't even make mistake to connect any fone ,USB or transfer any file to any other device.

OP, these are either of your solutions like others have opined:

1. See if you can access Programs and Features, arrange according to date and uninstall the softwares you recently installed. Go to the c: drive, x86 and search to see if the folder of that software is still there. Delete them all (even though all will not be deleted). Reboot and use Windows Defender to scan the remaining.

2. See if you can boot your PC in safe mode and uninstall the recently installed softwares.

3. Remove your HDD, buy an external case and scan with another PC that has a very powerful anti-virus as an external device.

4. If you have access to Ubuntu, boot a laptop with it (you don't need to install), plug in your HDD and take your time to delete certain files you think aren't there. The drawback with this is you may see a file with extension .dll et al and delete so I'd advice if you have a friend understands laptops well, let him do that.

Or to save yourself these stress, buy another HDD, install Windows OS, making sure the Windows Defender is updated to the latest, convert the initial HDD to external by buying a hard drive casing and scan before taking out your files. Once you're done, format that HDD to wipe of any trace of worms, malwares or viruses.

Forget about antivirus, they are trash.
The best way to protect your pc against viruses is to simply install windows 8.1 or windows 10 because these two windows are equipped with a tight security.

Just ensure the inbuilt windows defender is up to date and you are good to go. For five years now since I started using windows 8.1 and 10, I have never for once had issues with virus unlike when I was using windows 7 and xp.

I can recommend only one thing. format your system completely by re-installing a new windows, then use a software called EaseUs data recovery software to recover your files. the software can recover files up to four years ago.

If keyboard isn't working, there is little you can do. There are codes to remove Viruses in cmd.exe But your keyboard needs to be working first.

If you are using windows 10 OS, it might be sticky keys is enabled. I am facing something like that too, if I want to open one folder, it opens hundreds of other folders too in the window. When am typing on ms world, my mouse keeps highligting all the text, plus it keeps entering in an out of Caps mode, my keyboard and mouse do seize to function too if I leave it idle for 5seconds, my browser keeps opening each page on a new window as well. All this consumes my RAM and crashes the system. I done tire self.

To turn off Sticky Keys, press the shift key five times or uncheck the Turn On Sticky Keys box in the Ease of Access control panel. If the default options are selected, pressing two keys simultaneously will also turn off Sticky Keys.

Baba get a USB or windows installation cd and format your PC.

you don't need to Partition anything, to save old files.

Just install it ontop of the existing drive, your old files will be stored as "windows.old", there after you can copy it back.

You can do it yourself., it's as simple as AbC

I have done this several times.

As a good practice courtesy of CompTIA Security +
it's good to Partition ones drive into two places
one for O.S installation and
one for Files storage
so if the virus attacks a drive involving the OS, you are rest assured the drive for files are intact

Also in times like this, Good practice from CompTIA S+ says
- Run antivirus in safe mode as not all services will be active
- Slave the HDD to a non production PC (test pc) and scan for malware
- Do a system restore.

You need to buy hard disc adaptor (HDD). Its like #500, remove your system hard disc and insert it in the adaptor. look for a desktop of a rugged laptop with anti virus and scan your hard disk like external disc while it is connected to the desktop.

Note that this will likely slow the process of the desktop as the window in the hard disc will attempt to rum.

formating the laptop might not be a solution, the virus must have hidden itself in all the devices you have connected to the laptop. like phone, flash drive, external hard drive, etc. Unless u are willing to format all your devices.
Get a registered antivirus and scan all your devices. Advantage of doing this is that, your files will remain safe.
It might be expensive but it worth it.

If you know the likely date your system got the virus, go to the system set up, find restore system to an earlier date, click on start and wait for about 15-30 minute, it will jump pass everything your system has passed true and restore to that date... The virus will still try to take over but at this point you can finish it up... Stab it from behind and boot it out of your system before it re strategize and kill your system finally... Its a race against time, someone must reach the finish line first, either you or the virus. Game on.
