Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Acts 16:31; Joshua 24:15

A Christianity that makes one envious
Another generation is coming: young people, adolescents, children, babies are arriving in a universe that is distancing itself more and more from God and the values preached by Christ. Egotism, immorality, lies, hatred and violence dominate a society in which unemployment, poverty, pleasures of every kind and gross inequality go together as a result of man’s increasing disrespect for God and biblical teaching. Must one despair? No, God is patient enough to present even today his plan of salvation to all these young ones, to deliver and protect those who wish to live with their Lord, singly or in their family. How can we adults and parents assist them?

Let us examine our own lives. Have we spiritual riches to share with them? If the Word of God inspires our thoughts, the love of Christ and the truth will determine our actions. Our life will be an example to them. They will wish to know the Bible and follow Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

Let us give Him the first place in our homes, making them a place where His authority is recognized and His Word read and lived out. Let us live in a climate of prayer. Speaking to our children of the Lord is good; speaking to the Lord about our children is equally necessary.

On Sundays let us give the Lord prime place and meet around Him.

Let us cultivate a love for our neighbour, doing all so that our children find the opportunity to serve the Lord.
