President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, met with HE Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of Portugal at the ongoing UNGA in New York. Both leaders had a bilateral talk, on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74) in the United States. Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on his Twitter handle, Wednesday night. According to him, the former Prime Minister of Australia, Hon Kevin Rudd, was also in attendance at the bilateral meeting. “Today, on the sidelines of the #UNGA, President @MBuhari had a bilateral meeting with President of Portugal H.E. Mr Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and former Prime Minister of Australia Hon. itsme01: No mind CR7 minions. The hype and exaggerations no be here. I almost laughed to death, the day one of his minions told me that statues of their tin god was erected all over Portugal. It was a battle to correct his trashy opinions. Cristiano isn't even from mainland Portugal. He is from Madeira, a small island off the coast of Portugal but under Portuguese territory and his statue was only erected at the local airport in Madeira, not Lisbon. Lol 3 Likes 1 Share
