The suspended Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, has forfeited some of her assets to the federal government. This comes as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Friday, ordered her to permanently forfeit some monetary assets linked to her. Channels TV reports that Justice Folashade Ogunbanjo-Giwa gave the order at the resumption of her corruption trial on Friday. The embattled head of civil service had been accused of being involved in a N3billion alleged contract scam. President Muhammadu Buhari suspended her last week after she was rumoured to be considering to voluntarily retire from service.
