.."Unfortunately, after 36hours of suffering in pains, the elephant later died in peace." More like the elephant died in agony. To be hit by a moving train cannot be imagined! That's tragic. 4 Likes |

well the point of the post was quite salient, better than tacha overload. didnt know building across elephants' ancient paths was a problem. Good method for sensitising people on their plight hope we wont see another ghastly post of somebody in a faraway state boiling the elephant carcass and uploading the pictures here endangered species seem to make the best peppersoup to you people smh 1 Like |

They said "prayers" for 36hrs. How about calling vets or even hunters in the nearby town to tranquilize the elephant and then give it treatment for its wounds? 1 Like |

Knowledgeable doesn't equal common sense, they know its ancient pathway for migrating elephants certainly yearly/seasonal. Creating at least 8meters wide tunnel would go a long way reducing this yearly incident/accident. 2 Likes |

This kind report self. The op couldn't even state where this incident happened, which country, if Nigeria which state? Again, with the way he narrated how the elephant suffered and was in severe pain as a result of the accident with the train, you still said that the elephant later died in peace after struggling with the pains. How is it possible to be struggling in pains and still died in peace? 3 Likes |
