first off, it is very condescending to say that if resource control is given to the ND it will be mismanaged. whose place is it to judge that? in any case i dont see a better job being done now.
one poster thinks the FG should monitor the achievements of the states and then according to perfomance increase the percentage of control given. lame argument if u ask me. are u proposing some sort of big brother state?
ok at the moment, the militants are pointing fingers at th FG and kidnapping people cos they think they are being unfairly treated. why dont we give them control of their God given resources and let them pay taxes to the centre. the FG can then decide to give kano state 10% of what they get. and then when the ND leaders mess up like nigeria thinks they will, who will the militants direct their anger towards? yes the people in control who will then be the Alams of that time. then justice can truly be done.
