UNITED States President Barack Obama and former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu were among those who on Tuesday enquired about the state of health of elder statesman, Chief Anthony Enahoro, who was rumoured dead on Monday but is recuperating at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

The Guardian learnt that Enahoro’s son, Ken, received a phone call from Obama on Tuesday morning to find out about the state of health of his father with greetings and goodwill message.

It was also learnt that Tinubu and Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos State have also sent emissaries to Benin to find out about Enahoro’s state of health and also wished him quick recovering.
