The All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 59th Independence Anniversary advising the citizens to shun divisive tendencies as the country is better off as an indivisible entity.


The party issued this statement on Monday in Abuja by the APC spokesman, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, “We remember and salute our founding fathers who fought for the independence of our great country and also members of our Armed Forces, many of whom have paid the supreme sacrifice to defend Nigeria’s territorial integrity and keep our country united”.
