Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that all is not well with Nigeria. Atiku, in a statement yesterday, said, “All is not well when Nigeria is now officially the world headquarters for extreme poverty and out of school children, yet the cost of maintaining those in government continues togrow, while the needs of the governed are not being met. “And certainly, all is not well when the media cannot freely express itself without the fear that those who wield the big stick would use it on them for saying things as they are,” he said.
So on point Sir. God protect and Bless Nigeri; Happy Independence day

Joining hands to uplift the country is a task that must be considered by every patriot.

If you are in opposition and you think the best way to come to power is to demonize those holding the positions now with unwarranted propaganda, tactically supporting terrorism against the country and even refusing to lend a helping hand to the country in terms of security all in the bid to paint the current leaders bad, I have an advice for you
.... learn from the travails of the current power holders.

What goes around comes around but unfortunately, the country will suffer for it.

Happy Independence, NIGERIA.

What form of support to terrorism is worse than disobedience to court order?

There is nothing to defend in this country. As long as your brothers Fulani continue to kill our people with reckless abandon, the country is heading to total disintegration.
I pray for the country to disintegrate. Amen.

A point comes when an entity should admit that the task before it is beyond it.
I suggest we lease the country to USA for 16 years to run it and develop it, then after that we decide if to let them continue and for how long

After almost six decades... I mean 59 whole years.. we are still talking about unity.. See eee, for as long as this country operate the was it has been, we will continue to be seeing ''unity'' as our greatest achievement. By the way why not? When some sections do not believe they can survive without others why the other sections insisted they are not treated as equal and must go, the other who benefits more insisted no go area but yet no fairness. The united states of America has conglomarates of different people but they dont force/beg for togetherness but rather they are proud being united. They have equal opportunities afterall so why not together.
Let the leaders continue with their divisive and elusive rulership while the led continue their sectional fights and hatred.. we will get there. When you continue doing the same thing and expect different result, who are you?

Join and defend the nation in what way? When it was 'war' to approve #30 000 as minimum wage for workers having families while our senators get SUVs with millions of naira in allowances and salaries.

Defend our nation when our senior citizens die while queueing up to collect their pension which was deducted from their salaries during their active days.

Defend our nation when our brothers in SA were stranded, being killed and talks were shifted to a month's time if not for pressure and even at that, there was no contingency plans whatsoever to safeguard their lives except handshakes while smiling sheepishly at the camera.

Defend our nation while there's no freedom of speech. Nobody criticises the current government without looking out for DSS. Terrorism and Treason are among charges labelled against human rights activists.

Unless we tell ourselves the truth, we are all playing to the gallery.

Buhari preaching unity and cohesion, Atiku, well, I don't quite understand that his message. Some just believe you have to be against all the time to be an opposition. Very wrong opinion.
