Funny how we blame our leaders and don't look inward ourselves. We scream our government as soon as if these leader fell from the sky and are not members of a community

The premise of this write up comes from a Nigerian who recently travelled to Canada, took pictures of his Universities and hauled expletives at our leader for destroying this country.

Newly book Tejuosho Market just few months back, a dude after eating snacks threw the trash on the ground, despite the multiple waste bin available. A young man who tried to correct him was insulted and almost rough handled. Yet it's our leaders that's the problem

Nigerian people fight at BRT stops and obstruct each other from getting into the bus. Those who get in turn the bus to waste bins, are impolite and inconsiderate to other passengers, yet blame the government for all these woes. In advanced countries people go into buses gently, respect people's space, and take responsibility for their actions.

We destroy government properties and blame the government. Newly built government facilities are pilfered by those who in turn blame government. Newly built University structures are turned to dump sites by students who end up blaming the government.

We go out of the Country and act hostile to the host communities, and it's still our government. There is already a big conversation of the arrogance of Nigerians in diaspora, several Countries already flagging Nigerians as barbaric, devilish, proud and untamable. Philippines, China, Japan, India, Parkistan, Indonesia are among the countries who are begining to dread the name Nigerians.

There is a fundermental flaw in the mindset of a black man, especially the Nigerian black man. And the earlier we accept it and work on it the better it would be for us all.

Cheers and congrats on our indepence, and I sincerely hope we can sour through this rumble and begin to chart a course for our future.
