Please Nairalanders, I would like to confirm if this school 'Coastal Polytechnic' is legal or not.

The school is located in Magbon. It's also called 'Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria'.

Have you heard about it? Is it accredited by the government?

It is a fraud. A school that is affiliated with Universities is awarding PHD Degree.

The universities were not even listed.

Even if it's legal, I won't enroll in school that claims it offers PhD programs just same year it's established.

Data from their domain WHOIS shows that they registered their domain on the 1st of July this year, this practically means that the alleged institute is ONLY 3 MONTHS old in operations and yet they offer all sorts of degree programs including Masters and PhD.

Do your thorough and due diligence.

Op I graduated from the school nd the school is 100% legit and approved.

The school is more than 8 years old and was formally located in Apapa before moving to Magbon,B/stop along Badagry road.
