Real Madrid's woes continued as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Club Brugge in the Champions League.

But things could have been much worse for Zinedine Zidane's men, who trailed 2-0 at the break before an impressive fightback.

Emmanuel Dennis was the hero for the visitors but Real hit back through Casemiro and a controversial header from Sergio Ramos.

Real were thrashed 3-0 by PSG in their first group game and needed to pick up a victory against Brugge at the Bernabeu.

But the Spanish giants found themselves a goal down after just nine minutes of the encounter.
Brugge broke well and a cross into the box found Dennis, who failed to control the ball.
However, his heavy touch wrong footed Thibaut Courtois as the ball trickled into the net.

The goal was reviewed by VAR for two possible offside calls but the decision was eventually given in the favour of the visitors.

And they had a second before the break as Dennis stunned the Bernabeu into complete silence.
He celebrated in style too, mimicking Cristiano Ronaldo , who scored so many in this competition at the Bernabeu.

Luka Modric sloppily lost possession and Dennis was sent through and despite appearing to stumble, managed to loft his finish over Courtois.

The Belgian stopper was replaced at the break after feeling ill, with Alphonse Areola introduced.
Skipper Sergio Ramos headed Real back into it, with VAR failing to disallow the goal despite the Spaniard being offside.

Brugge were on the back foot and their task was made harder when Ruud Vormer was dismissed late on.

Real made them pay from the resulting free-kick as Casemiro headed in but Real had to settle for a point.
