Partnership With VIO: Patani LG Chairman Gets Pat On The Back.

Delta State Commissioner for transport Hon Oviemuno Oghoore, has commended Patani Local Government Chairman, Hon Perekebina Omoun (Esq) for his concern and working relationship with the Vehicle Inspection Officers in Patani Zonal Office.

Oghoore commended the Local Government Chairman when he paid a working/familiarization visit to Patani Zonal office of the Directorate in continuation of his one-on-one assessment of all zonal offices across the State.

The commissioner and his Management team first and foremost paid an impromptu visit to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Perekebina Omoun, since the Council accommodates the Vehicle Inspection Officers in the Council's Secretariat complex.

Oghoore, after inspecting the Office of the VIO and working condition, he encouraged them to maintain good working relationship with their host and neighbours in the secretariat and on the road, while he promised that with time, their working condition would be improved upon.

Earlier, Hon. Perekebina expressed joy seeing the commissioner for Transport and assured him of his assistant to the VIO's as their host, promising to equally seek a proper synergy with the Officers when the needs arises.

The commissioner equally visited Ughelli, Udu, Agbarho, Effurun, Warri, and Orerokpe among others where VIO and DESTMA officers are in company of the acting Permanent Secretary, Engr. Victor Omoniyi, Director of Vehicle Inspection Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemegbeha, Director of Operations DESTMA Engr. Francis Edema among other management staff.
