Genevieve Nnaji's movie, Lion Heart keeps breaking boundaries.

The movie has now been nominated for the 2020 Oscars in the category of Best International Film and this is the first ever entry for Nigeria.

Reacting to this, Genevieve wrote: "

Oscar Award isn't some MTV or headies award.
Its a prestigious name in the USA held by the likes of James Corden and jimmy fallon as the show host and guests like Selena Williams,Paul McCartney, Mayweather,Pdiddy,kardashians,Opera.etc
If Nigeria should win an Oscar it should be a high budget movie with an interesting story line that the world could relate to not just some traditional bullshit. Just because A top-notched Actor played the major role or netflix bought d movie doesn't mean she's entitled to winning
Wedding Party or Delilah would have been better

There is no limit to what Africa can achieve with a lot of desire.
