Re: Baker And Hughes Early Career 2020 Program by Thetruth443: 1:02pm On Nov 07, 2019 |
shakaz: Yes it is a 2-3 days final assessment event. Usually held in Port Harcourt. Depending on the process this year, you may be flown out of the country alongside other candidates (to Abardeen, Turkey or Houston) but am not absolutely sure if Nigerians are usually flown out for this assessment. We hope for the best! 1 Like |

Quick question guys. Is the BHE going to be based on the different departments advertised. Or is it going to be a combination of all advertised departments. Judging from previous threads, I understand it comprises about 40 persons. Is this going to include a mix of all the applicants who make it to the final stage regardless of the role applied? From past threads, I've only seen the Field engineer advertised but this year seems different. I'm not sure though |
Re: Baker And Hughes Early Career 2020 Program by Thetruth443: 2:30pm On Nov 07, 2019 |
Bricks92: There's no way Finance and Engineering will be combined for the assessment. Reason being that there is a sharp contrast in both departments. Engineering is purely technical. So it may be different assessment days for both. |
Re: Baker And Hughes Early Career 2020 Program by babatundea877: 3:20pm On Nov 07, 2019 |
Chukwu94: Is it the same "Field Engineer" 2020 opportunities you applied for or Finance? Because from my understanding, the responsibilities outlined in the advert are typical for engineering and closely related + technically inclined applied science disciplines (. My opinion though. |

Hey guys, How are y'all holding up? Noob question: I updated some info on my submission when I noticed a question under "Job related questions": "Are you willing to relocate?" Well, I'm open to relocate both nationally and internationally, but I noticed one had to select just one. So I chose "internationally" reasoning that it will indicate my being open to any form of relocation. Correct? 1 Like |

Like I said earlier about updating the thread on every single stage in the process. 9th Nov. Status update "we are considering you for the position". For anyone looking for a detailed application status update progress. May God complete this for us in victory. Only God has absolute control over this. quote author=Thetruth443 post=83816356]I applied on the 14oct. Then I got an on-demand hirevue interview with Baker Hughes ( 4 business days later ) presicely on the 18th . During my interview I had 7 pre-recorded questions to answer in 20 minutes using 3minutes for each. From my understanding I think the questions asked where generally derived from my CV based on Projects (how I led in a project, how I executed a project with a short time line, a time when one of my decisions met with opposition, a time I made a mistake and what I learned from it, a time I used past experience from work or school to solve a technical problem). I interviewed on the 25th Oct at exactly 3a.m and got a status update (approximately 2 business days) on the 29th Oct . This is November and I am yet to check my account for application status update. I'll share any relevant info when I check by Sunday. I hope this might help for any one being skeptical about his/her application status. For those waiting for the BHE invites please kindly quote my reply. Lets share ideas on how best to prepare for the event. Just incase we find ourselves on the same group. December is a couple weeks away. We are in this together and preparation meets perfection. Let God's will be done! [/quote] |

From my end I was told those who performed well in the interview will be contacted. I hope this helps. Though there's a lot to say from my end... But I have to compare replies from others who are also making moves. Please let's collaborate. |
Re: Baker And Hughes Early Career 2020 Program by shakaz(m): 1:56pm On Nov 14, 2019 |
Thetruth443:how did you contact them? Call or mail? |
Re: Baker And Hughes Early Career 2020 Program by babatundea877: 2:10pm On Nov 14, 2019 |
Thetruth443: So performing well in interview obviously would involve a lot of considerations. If that is the first-hand criterion for calling. Then am afraid people who had mentioned and talked about technical work experience pretty much related to Baker Hughes field practice/operations may be on first-class shortlist....every other would probably fall on economy list...mehn!! So looking at it, its possible calls/emails start rolling in even before the deadline to prepare successful candidates ahead of the assessment activities. ...my opinion. No hard source |
