Pink October Lagos is an event to create awareness about cancer, provide FREE cancer screening & stimulate intentional action against cancer

October every year is commemorated in countries across the world as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and all efforts are devoted to increasing attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease. Project PINK BLUE uses the entire month for creating BREAST CANCER awareness, free screenings, and fundraising to support women battling with breast cancer, providing palliative care to women with advanced cancer, admiring the survivors, and honoring the taken.
Project Pink BLUE invites you to join create awareness about cancer in the streets of Lagos.
The Pink October Walk, Race & Cycle Against Cancer Lagos, 2019 will take place as follows:

Since 2017, Project Pink BLUE have organized the Pink October event which engages over 500 people in Lagos. Previous walks have been led by Dr. Abosede Evelyn Wellington, State Cancer Control Coordinator, Lagos State Ministry of Health, who represented the Lagos State Government; The Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Consulate Lagos, Darcy Zotter and Nigerian celebrities such as Bloss Chukwujekwu, Kiki Omeili, Yvonne Jegede, Rachael Okonkwo, Uriel Oputa, and cancer survivors.
