The terrible and sorry state of a road around the Satellite Town axis (Old Ojo road side of the Fin Niger to Alakija) in total length that is less than 2km and a breadth of less than 25 foots. All routes leading in and out are blocked by containers and tankers; And with the containers heading to the Alakija terminal and the tankers heading to the deep water depot inside of Ijegun waterside of Satellite Town. All others vehicles plying that routes are usually trapped for sometimes 3-4hrs just to make it through a distance that is less than 6 minutes of walk. Business along this axis is on low patronage as people try to avoid passing this route. This road leads to the Oriade LCDA council and nothing has been done to address the menace of this containers and tankers as toll fees are being collected from them as internal revenue. God help the people that endures this daily hardship.

That’s the problem Lagos has. Population explosion due to commerce and industrialization.

If Lagos keeps building more seaports, markets, tank farms etc without taking it easy In 10 years time Lagos will not be a very conducive environment to raise kids. There will be total anarchy in the state and the taxation by the state government to keep up will be at an all time high.
