Not true, betting is illegal in Malaysia except you are in Genting Island and a few other legalised casino. Also, one can play online or some illegal shops that have managed to create inner rooms for players and CCTV to monitor police.

These particular boys were arrested at home in their apt. The government doesn't tax gamble, it is illegal, even in Genting Malaysians can't play, you will only see Chinese. Just don't be caught.

Twelve Nigerians were among 14 foreigners arrested by Malaysian Immigration Department this week when its men busted an illegal online gambling operations at a condominium in Kajang.

The gambling operations were manned by two Chinese. Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the team found two Chinese nationals in one of the units and seized six laptops, 18 mobile phones and 19 hard disk drives.

Khairul led the operation comprising the police, as well as officers from the Malaysia Civil Defence Force and the National Registration Department. “One of the men was without any documents, while the other was found with an expired social visit pass,” he said after the operation conducted between 12.30am and 2.45am on Saturday (Oct 5).

The case has been handed over to police for further investigations, reported thestar.com.my Khairul said that during the raid, some of the Nigerians tried to flee by jumping from windows while others remained quiet when they were asked questions.

All 14 will be brought to the Immigration detention depot in Bukit Jalil for further investigation under Section 6(1) and Section 15 of the Immigration Act 1959/63 for not possessing legal travel documents and overstaying.

that remains minds me of the story about the bully bull and the dungy bear or that of adam that is formed out of clay earth and the bottom feeder he was given so that he had to feed off everybody taxes unknown to them even though he was a dirty clay being.... belief me malaysia is very advanced in the way they treat us especially me who had to carry my own $90,000 there for studies fees, and other living expenses (i was contemplating to buy a studio flat close to my punjabi malay woman friend), everything i did was express and classical but i noticed a lots of bill cheats on the parts of my local managers who where in constant communication with the Malaysian authorities.... this has affected my international figure ratings (i ran a bank account abroad, had resident permit, hold an international student card etc) so much that my personal database that was published over the internet by the school i attended was erased as if i was never there but my managers have employed other private investigators to dig my foreign resources and use them to make money while i am living like a destitute back home...
