Prayer is the one thing taking Nigeria and Nigerians backward.
We pray when we should act.

Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu state asked that Enugu should fast after Fulani herdsmen massacred his people.

Babatunde who has been looking for the fruit of the womb will rather spend most nights in church for deliverance when he should be shagging his wife.

Stupidity and religious believes is the fulcrum to which backwardness and under development flourishes. What concerns security and prayers. The thieves will claim to pay the house of Saud hard currency for these spiritual misadventure.

So these people are really serious about this! When we are yet to recover from the P&ID scam, another form of imported scam is now thrust on us and the masses will be forced to pay through ambiguous and sneaky taxes. How much will these foreign prayer warriors be paid?

The quality of a nation is determined by the quality of its leaders. Nigerians, you can’t sell your votes to illiterates, gun toting thugs, affidavit waving men and expect not to be a laughingstock in the international community!

The chief of army staff had thrown in the towel with this suggestion, and as such should have been retired. While a sane house of assembly would have immediately commenced impeachment proceedings against a governor that would even suggest the use of state funds for such!
But this is Nigeria, watch some people come and hail this man for admitting that he is bereft of ideas and as such has handed the security of the state he was voted in to mange to foreign prophets, in public!!

Does Allah like Saudi Muslims more than Nigerian Muslims ? Or is it that the closer you are to that black rock the more likely Allah can hear you?

They could do things like establish birth control, improve the economy, hire additional security etc but instead funnel money from a poor Nigeria to a rich Saudi Arabia getting 30 clerics to pray for a country they barely know about as though prayers will stop Boko Haram. If they had been forward thinking and had created jobs for their people there would be no boko haram.

Supported cos the war is an Islamic Fundamentalist Idea hence we need Spirituality to fight back the orientation, by counselling, praying and orientation to Muslims, to make them know that the Jihad called Book Haram is wrong.

This will go a-long-way to change Bokoharam mindset and their intended converts from Holy War/Jihad against Nigeria.

You have more clerics in the North than the whole of Saudi Arabia, you dont need extra prayers, you need innovation and birth control.

True story:... was speaking with my friend who happens to come from Chibok Bornu state in the North (my security man), telling him that things are tough in this country and life is getting harder than normal, he laughed hard and said to my utmost surprise "Oga, things no hard for me ooo", I was a bit shocked and asked why, he said his father a teacher with 100k salary from the Govt, had two wives and 35 children. He was the last from his mother and he was practically the S in suffer, he went days without food, farmed till his fingers went numb and all the while he never saw what N10,000 looked like. .

He said his family was an everyday fight for food, and could not imagine what his neighbour friend who was the 57th in a family of 70 comprising of children and grandchildren would be going through. He even vowed not to get married or at most not give birth to more than he can manage. he actually went deep into bokoharam and how it all started with price tags placed on killing of Christians, Police, Army, burning of churches during the last administration with cash rewards between 50k to 500k, that drove a lot of the youths to joining the association, he said killing was as normal as turning off a light switch while child birth in large numbers made it look like nothing happened.

So, sir... you dont need clerics for more prayers, you need birth control and innovations.
Is it not the same Boko Haram that has killed more Muslims than all Non Muslims all together

NigeriaIsDoomed:
Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has signed an agreement with 30 Saudi-based clerics to pray for peace in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Isa Gusau.

He said, “An old man amongst them is said to have remained a Ka’aba devotee in the last 40 years.

“The Ka’aba is Islam’s holiest area located inside the grand Al-Haram mosque in Makkah.

"The aim is to combine different approaches that include sustained support for the Nigerian Armed Forces, aggressive mass recruitment and equipping of more counter-insurgency volunteers into the Civilian JTF, hunters and vigilantes as well as socio-economic approach in enhancing access to education, job opportunities and providing other means of livelihood through social protection initiatives.”

Gusau, who was present during Governor Zulum’s brief interaction with the devotees on Friday evening around the Ka’aba in Saudi Arabia, said “The governor was there to convey his deepest gratitude and to seek continued prayers.

“Rather than sending anyone, the governor was there to, on behalf of the good people of Borno State, thank them for their empathy and the compassion in devoting themselves to praying for us everyday at the Ka’aba which for us as Muslims, is the most sacred place.

“We need these prayers more than ever before.

"We are handling our problems from different approaches.

"Prayer is key in everything that we seek. We will continue to seek prayers from many fronts.

"We will keep supporting clerics of different faiths in Nigeria for the same prayers and we will seek the same from all of you that are always here around the Holy Ka’aba.

“The governor basically will beg that they continue to pray for us towards achieving three things: first, for us to regain peace in Borno State, all of the North and Nigeria in general.

"We will have to continue that prayer on a permanent basis because we need the peace that will be sustained."

Zulum’s quest for spiritual intervention is coming days after Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Butatai, declared that a spiritual solution was required to end Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria.

Sam Saudis who are sponsor of BH, are contracted to Pray against BH. I am still wondering how we got here with all this senseless leaders.

Nigeria is one the most religious nation in the world, but with the highest level of corruption, poverty, and underdevelopment.

The people always deserve the kind of leader they get.
