Sigh... another excuse for the tribalists to fight, instead of seeing the message.

The 5 states that produce the most wealth are the most industrialized. Simple.
Government should be encouraging industry in the other states. Making - not trading - is what creates wealth for most countries.

Yes you can trade, but all wealthy countries trade what they made... not what they bought from somewhere else.

If every state could have just 1/4 of what Ogun or Anambra state has (not even to mention Lagos), we would not be talking the same thing.

Increase the tax of the rich to Carter for the poor. The more richer you get, the higher paid taxes.

Southern Nigeria

1. Lagos
2. Anambra
3. Abia
4. Rivers
5. Ogun

Northern Nigeria
1. Kano
2. FCT
------------------------------------------

These are the states where the new CBN policy takes place. The state where most money change hands in Nigeria. The denominator of these states is IGBO. That's why many Nigerians hate to see SE leave. SE wants to remain but they are not rewarded for being more Nigerian than the loud mouthed one Nigeria unity beggars who are on their way to this thread. Igbo wants equity. They want to aspire to the highest position like the north and the SW, they want good federal roads, airport, rail system like the north and the SW have. They do not want any restriction on the level they can attain in Police, Army, Airforce, Customs, Immigration, Navy, etc, etc. These are the issues SE people want resolved.
These people never disappoint

I guess those "Few Nigerians Holding Most Of Nigeria’s Wealth" this hypocrite is talking about are mainly himself, close family members, aides, cronies(Gandollar, Abba Kyari, former NHIS sec etc) many of the criminals turned saints in the APC today & the fella that was arrested and deported from Hearthrow recently.

Hypocritical? Maybe.... But, at least he is voicing this open secret... What efforts did his predecessors make in bridging that huge lacuna between the few wealthy and numerous impoverished??!...

But who hires the poor? All the workers of Glo, Forte, Dangote, Peace, Innoson, and so many... who will hire them if the rich are taxed more? In fact the rich should be given tax-free incentives so they invest more in this country. We need more jobs and the government should tax their wages. Moving money from rich to poor without an increase in productivity is much more harmful.

The people holding this country to ransom are in both Apc and Pdp. They are plagues to the real progress of this country. They know the right thing bt keep doing the wrong ones.

This is the CHANGE we voted for.
May President Muhammadu Buhari And his AMIABLE Vice President PROF YEMI OSINBAJO succeed as they improve the state of our economy from the rot they met on ground.
It will end in praise praise for our darling nation.

This thread should not be about about TRIBALISM, it should be what reasonable people should comment about and learn somethings from it.
But this is Nairaland where some people are making the HQ of TRIBALISM!

Moderators, you have a lot to deal with and do on this great forum.

What's scripted man saying? You can keep talking and continue to do less yet expect change.Change doesn't happen by chance it only does by taking conscious and decisive steps.I love the remark of Rewane at the programme tagged The Platform; What we have control over is credibility and leadership.Social credibility over what we say is important because talk is cheap.Credibility doesn't come from what we say but what we do.

Lol Beating Chest on new CBN Policy.

You leave Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi that are all Igbo states to be claiming denominators in Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kano, and FCT.

What about terminators lol? grin

I expect all Igbo states to be on the list since you keep making noise about how you make the most money.

You are not only the developers but now you are also the denominators. grin

Ogun State IGR alone is more than all the IGR of South East but somehow you are still the one beating chest and making noise.

You are so myopic & very rude in your judgement here. People like you will never see anything good in your country. Continue to leave in bitterness & hatred. What the president said here is the true reflection of what our country is experiencing today in terms of low productivity is as a result of some corrupt element who has denied the poor & most vulnerable a better leaving for a very long time, & even you can't denied the fact that the wealth of this country is in the hands of the few. Wake up & stop the hatred against your leader ordained by GOD. What a pity!!!

What is your contribution in Lagos, Ogun, PH, FCT, Abia, Anambra, even Kano, then the great Igbos?

You IGR is more than SE yet SE will have more toll gates that all SW states put together.

Also remember Igbos are part of the IGR in Ogun? How much is your IGR contribution in Anambra, Abia, PH and others?

Easy man, do you know where the IGR is coming from ? How many shops owners are assesibe to personal income tax? The IGR is primarily driven by PAYE and u can see that it's industry that are driving it. Is not shops bros and if it's, that would be because we buy the goods that's why u came in millions to Lagos.

To be Frank, all the states in the north west should be merged with Kano and Kaduna. They are good for nothing. Sadly, they contribute nothing other than being a dead-weight to other states in the federation.
Eg Sokoto, zamfara, jigawa,Katsina and Kebbi. All they know how to do is causing problem for the nation. School, they don't like, almajiri every where.
And yet they want to be rich without investing for the future...u can't eat ur future today and expect to be better tomorrow.
The north west needs to start working and stop hiding under the cloak of religion.

And Bolshevik revolution in Russia, Nigerians don't know jack, they supported the west to bring down communism, Nigerians have been deceived to believe, that communism is evil but without communism, China with her population and the greed associated with imperialism, there would have been no China today.
China was colonized by the Mongolians for a thousand years, and was later colonized by the British, but just look at China today, now the people of China are proud of their country.
Can Nigeria go the way of China?, our people are too morally and spiritually bankrupt, and we as a people can't even think, it takes a lot of deep thinking by the populace, to agree with a vision of a man like Mao.
Ordinary border closure see how Nigerians are crying, they said locally produced rise are not sweet, the Chinese had no any form of contact with the outside world before the end of communism, except those who are on government mission.
A lot of people died, trying to escape from China, up till now, most Chinese laws are still communist laws, especially corruption, robbery and other money related crimes.
so communism of all should be chosen in place of capitalism? are you seriously saying this?

have you lived under a communist state before? lots of people whom I've seen lived under such and tried capitalism were never ever singing this your praises. they know better, not a misinformed individual who thinks all is well the other side.

By the way China is not the only communist state in the world... the majority are failures, and China? just chill and watch out... their growth is not by any bullshit communism but by the leverage given to them by the American government some decades ago.. do a little research on that
