naijadrivablog: They look to double tax the already impoverished masses, while routinely carting away an insanely huge chunk of the same revenues and budget as allowances. Imagine about 70% of national budget splashed away on re-current expenditures such like heavily paying them, while about left for capital projects which are even hardly executed. @ the bolded, what a pipe dream! Nigerians aren't ready for change. |

naijadrivablog:that Ali ndume is an educated illiterate despite the fact some analyst on channels try to analyse how the masses and average would end up being most affected he insisted that the masses has nothing to loose since he is so concerned about taxing the rich what about introducing property tax thus if you have more than a house, more than a car etc and you have earning so and so amount you are liable to property tax what about that but no they won't allow such always looking for short cuts to make the poor poorer while the rich richer |

9% tax on top of VAT, on top of 30% business tax, on top of ... Then the banks will impose their own charges at every turn. All these taxes end up being passed on to the consumer, who is already struggling to put food on the table. The Buhari APC campaign promise was to reduce poverty. But it seems they are drivers of poverty. No wonder Nigeria has become #1 in the world with the most poor people. Nigeria has more poor people now than China, and India. |
