I was in a keke yesterday on my way to meet a client. a young man stopped us , this guy was with a little girl of about five years. imagine my shock when he told the driver where exactly to drop this little girl. to add to my shock, it was only the front sit that remain, this guy placed this little girl there, paid and left saying she can stay there no need to exchange sit. the good driver was bewildered with shock as i was. I asked him not to move yet. I beg the guy next to me to sit at the front, took the girl and placed her in the middle at the back. while i and one elderly man sat at both edges. Zikora1000: It's actually not young parents rather parents who follow the old ways because of poverty and lack of exposure. Exposed , rich and middle class modern parents over pamper their kids, they drop them off in cars with lunch boxes. I couldn't cross a road myself till I was 11 , the first day I attempted my parents were mad at me. They then gave me special lectures on how to cross a road. I wouldn't allow my 10 year old walk alone down the street. Up bringing is a major factor here. 1 Like |
