Team Nigeria “Broomzilla” arrived Aberdeen, Scotland yesterday ahead of their first game against Estonia in the World Mixed Curling Championship.
Nigeria became the first African nation to be recognised by the world curling federation and they have taking the world by storm after they trashed France 8-5 earlier in the year.
Speaking to the president of the federation, Demola Daniel yesterday he says all is in place for team Nigeria to win a medal and make a Sub-Saharan country a world power in a winter sports.
Nigeria would take on Estonia in their first group game on Saturday 12th at 8am BST.
Group A: Belarus, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Hong Kong, Kosovo, Nigeria and Slovakia.
