Ukawsaw Gronnoisaw whose real name is James Albert who was born in 1705 and died in September 1775, a freed slave, is considerend to be the first person to publish a book in Britain.
His book, titled Narrative of the Most remarkable Particulars in the Life of James Albert Ukawsaw Gronniosaw, an African Prince, As related by himself, follows after his life during slavery.

According to Wikipedia, the book was also the first slave narrative in the English language. The book tells about how he was captured in Nigeria and subjected to a life of poverty.
Born in Bornu, he was forcefully taken at the age of 15 by ivory businessman who sold him to a Dutch master.

The preface of the book was said to have been written by Reverend Walter Shirley. While in New York, the Nigerian author learned to read and write.
She is the owner of Fresh Direct Nigeria, a company that is very concerned with the production of food produce. The wonderful thing about what she does is that she does a kind of farming that is known as hydroponics, a crop growing system that does not need soil.

Another thing is that though the farming does not use the kind of water the traditional type uses, it produces 15 times more than normal farming.
