Protest by drivers plying mile 3/Choba route in Rivers State turned violent as a driver was allegedly shot by a policeman attached to Rivers State task force on street trading and illegal motor parks. Police Reform! Police Reform! Police Reform! I'll keep shouting it and yet no CHANGE. The police in Nigeria is basically low budget Army. Most of them don't even know why they are policemen. They were just looking for jobs and the low standards of employment allowed them access to FULLY AUTOMATIC RIFLES, no or poor training, poor marksmanship and greed has turned these men into a militia for hire that only the rich can afford.
