Matt Le tissier (white.) was not selected as much as he should have been because again there were too may good players in his position.

Even them, IMO....Abraham should play for Nigeria really.Any African player in his position should consider playing for country of origin....even if he as good as Aubaremayang (recieved offers from France ).

Forwards are chosen based on media hype and it is very easy for the Three Lions to discard him should there be a goal drought. It is one reason you barely see an English striker play for long at the national level.

It doesn't even make sense that Abraham will getting a first eleven spot in a team where there is Sterling, Kane, Vardy (should he get called), Callum Wilson and Sancho.

This mistake is similar to how Mike ruined his career by opting for Chelsea when it should have been Manchester United.

He would be more appreciated. There was a time when players loved to just play and not sit on the bench and be content with wages and allowances. It's a thing of pride to represent your national team.

That's not the issue, people are not blaming him for the loss. England knew they had already lost that match they just had to bring in tammy 3 minutes to when the game was ending to prevent him from playing for Nigeria.
