One of the major reason why people abroad are fresh is because of daily hot water usage to bath.. Cold weather = hot water= fresh body.

Cold water invigorates and I read somewhere that it makes one younger/live longer

Hot water is for relaxation.After a long day,have a hot bath and you will sleep better.

So,in a nut shell cold water in the morning to get you going and hot water at night to get you sleeping.

Cold water at night drops my temperatures and gives a solid sleep, lukewarm water in the morning keeps me refreshed and absolutely hot water during the days of freezing temperatures like harmattan

I Was told bathing with spunge and soap with rain water makes your body droll somehow . I juba(doff) for my sister

I was also told bathing with hot water makes you feel cold after minutes. (Tends to make you sluggish)

Cold water , I wasn’t told anything but I knew you only scrub/rinse the head, chest , Jump to the feet without touching the rest of the body then jump out of the bathroom.

Your title should have been hot or warm water, which one is best? Why would someone bath cold water? Like ice cold? Does that even make sense ?

I prefer mixing till it becomes luke-warm. Neither cold nor hot

When i was young it was always hot water, was scared of allowing the cold water touch my back.

Up to the extent that when I was going for service I was scared of how I was going to cope in camp, was making enquiries where I can get hot water to add, cos I though we had time.

By the time they sound that trumpet by 4am and start using army to shout at everybody I didn't know when I started using cold water. Till this very day I use cold water cos I don't feel a thing

It depends on the weather I prefer using cold water during dry season then hot water during raining season

OP, anyone you are comfortable with is okay. I prefer cold water. Infact, I can't bathe with hot water.
