President Akufo Addo has ordered for the banning of Sports Betting activities in the country immediately, a satiric news editor Balfour Gyawu of News7pm has reported.

According to the satiric news, the order was made by the president during an Independence after-party at Tamale the Northen Region of Ghana.

According to Baffour’s report, the order came after three ministers who accompanied the President lost concentration as results of bet slips they lost when Young Boys led Luzern by four goals to nil in the 70th minute during their Switzerland Cup match.
