World Food Day: APC Hails Agric Minister For Leading Fight Against Hunger

A support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Mandate Defenders has lauded the efforts of the two Ministers of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Sabo Nanono and Hon. Mustapha Baba Shehuri for their efforts at ensuring zero hunger across the country.

In a message to mark this year's World Food Day in Abuja, the group said the reforms introduced by the duo at their ministry, especially in the area of ensuring food availability, accessibility and affordability has started yielding positive results as there are no more shortage of food and malnutrition in the country again when compared to other countries in Africa and Asia.

The group however called on Nigerians to support the reform policies of Messrs Nanono and Shehuri in their efforts in ensuring that every Nigerian has a healthy diet for zero hunger across the country irrespective of class.
