Following the arrest of 94 suspected internet fraudsters at a night club in Osogbo, the club, Secret Underground has been sealed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). After the Sunday night raid of the club, clubs and hoteliers in the state capital have been complaining of low patronage, as most fun-seekers were careful about night crawling for fear of arrest by operatives of the commission. A source closed to the management of the club confided in the medium that the owner of the club had been invited by the commission but refused to honour the invite. As at the time of filing this report, a visit to the club showed that the club is still under lock and key, while security operatives were stationed at the building. One of the staff of the club house, who was arrested alongside other 94 suspects on Sunday said he was released on Monday after interrogation by the commission and found out he was working at the club. He added that some of the persons arrested and later found innocent were also released after meeting their bail conditions. It was also gathered that the owner of the club is presently not in the country, hence, the manager of the club declined to comment until he gets the permission of the owner. I'm interested in the man that appears in the picture right above the 3 EFCC personnel. These low level criminals, you can be low key and still enjoy the best life. I mean just because you're into crime doesn't mean you now hang out with criminals. Get an exit strategy. 1 Like |

Larryfest: Same way you just "went after" a young girl who is obviously in need of mental and medical help- all because you think she was a slay queen. Did you have PROOF that she was a gold digging olosho LIVING ABOVE HER MEANS? Do you know anything about her apart from the pictures and story bloggers posted online? Did you do any INVESTIGATION to verify that info? If you become an EFCC official tomorrow, what would stop you from going after people and shooting them down, even when you have no proof? Did you forget politicians are the real gold diggers deserving of death? You people only remember to use your heads when men are victims. We would all keep dying in this country. Nostradamus: It is annoying. Any thread on a young girl that is mad, raped or anything- he is always there. Right there on FP to blame the girl and her gold digging ways. All this without PROOF or INVESTIGATIONS. But here he is, faulting the EFCC for going after same "suspected" yahoo boys. The yahoo boys he knows uses girls for rituals. Very wicked hypocritical being. Indeed we are a reflection of majority of our leaders and people in position of authority. |
