I just spent so much changing my gearbox after a total breakdown while on the road, now my mechanic said is not fully selected with gear 4 and 5 respectively now asking me to pay another 6k fee for rewire that will do the programming , Please let's somebody help new gear box for that matter.

You reach agreement with the seller before buying, gearbox is too sensitive so u confirm if it's working or not after the installation. Better you ask for another gearbox now b4 it's late

If u have the money I suggest u go for a brand new one ..

Buy used gearbox is something that is very risky u might end up returning it up to 5 times bfor u get the one that actually works well, which will cost u money for each time u have to return it and bring it back. except u know the car it was removed from..

Eventually u get the one that works .. u cant determine how much longer it will last for u since it's used already, perhaps even tampered with..

So if u really love ur car and want to use it more.. get a new transmission.
