An Ex-militant Has Turned N1.5m Business To N1bn In A Year. by Laghondi2008: 1:34pm On Oct 18, 2019
An ex millitant has turned to a BN in one year

Mr. Retson started a farm business with 1.5 million and grew it to 1 billion naira as investors came in with their different investments and via crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding is simply a contribution of funds for a huge project from different investors. Just like a loan given to you, when it's due for payment you pay back with interest. From 3 hectares, @retsonbiz has grown the farming business to 3000 hectares.

Apart from crops, he also has over a thousand livestock e.g Cattle, turkey, rams. There is a lot of profit in agriculture, because you get three times or more of what you have invested.

The more you invest the higher the profit you make. Some companies like Fedelity Biosciences, ARCH Venture Partners Flagship Ventures and the Alaska Permanent fund have also grown their businesses into billions in 2 years or less.

Mr. Retson, the Chairman of National Farmers Group and Cooperative Society Gaate Nasarawa, explained to the Vice President the origin of his vision for the over 3,000 ha cooperative that supports over 500 farmers and 400 workers in processing.

"It was when the VP visited us in the creeks & appealed to us to farm that it is better yield of up to 3 to 5 times of what you invest that we took to the land and we are doing well. We did it by being true Nigerians and developing it close to Abuja so anyone can see what we do.
