Exchange rate is a biatchhh... Unfortunately the fg will always want the dollar to be costly because we get paid in dollars when we sell our crude oil. Or should I say, when THEY sell OUR crude oil. |

I'm compelled to bemoan our sense of comprehension across many platforms. We sincerely need to cultivate the habit of reading between the line. What Aregbe was actually saying here was partaining to his budget. He was trying to justify whatever big budget was presented. He was not in any way pitying the prisoners. So it's still the same story of 'dem dem'. He was saying "look, you people should be grateful that our budget is this small, go to America and see how much they spend in taking care of one prisoner. When it comes to expenditure and tax generation, they compare Nigeria to America but when it comes to value delivery, budget performance, they leave Nigeria to the hands of God 3 Likes 1 Share |

I don't even understand his trajectory; did he say this for policy change in that respect or he did it for the enlightenment?!! Meanwhile... Are you a teacher? Get FREE access to the best compilation of school lesson notes/plans, curriculum and other resource. Check my signature for details |

/ There are 50 states in USA. California is one of the states with GDP of $3 trillion in 2018. Nigeria has GDP of $500 billion in 2008 as a country. In other words, Nigeria's GDP is only 16% of California's GDP. Don't forget that California is only one of 50 states in US. So, Aregbe keep deceiving yourself. / |

OyiboOyibo: So what is not hypocrisy in it? Aregbesola in his capacity as the governor of Osun state at the time kept civil servants on half pay. He only changed his position on the eve of the election to ensure that APC won. Now the same man turns around to compare the Nigerian minimum wage with the daily stipend of American prisoners. Don’t you know that those who come to equity must have clean hands. It is hypocritical because Aregbosola refused to do it as a governor and now he foolishly wakes up to tell Nigerians what he thinks is right. Yeye dey smell. |

This is quite rich, coming from a Governor who failed to pay salaries on time when he was a Governor. Perhaps one of the worst Governors we've had in Nigeria. |
