Something is really wrong with our country. This is modern day slavery in the name of religion. Something needs to be done urgently to stop this evil in our land before it degenerates to another Boko Haram. They should stop the Almajari system. The elites in the North should rise up and stop the evil practice in Nigeria.

This is the third one they are posting, just like the others, the owner was whisked away by the Police and the identity/Picture of the owner not revealed.
Whisked to where precisely?
Why are they hiding the identities of the owners of these places? If it were down here, they will show us their pictures.

most of them are stubborn kids or addicts, the owner is not at any fault
he built the place and has coaches/councillors and desplìnary leads
they bath eat and learn hand work
they are punished if found with offence
parents do come for visits,

Would you say the same, if they were taken by their immediate families to a herbalist, who chains them just as in the pictures, while claiming to have coaches etc. ?

If the investigation is open, you will discover those are from Christian families but were kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam....

How can people send their family members to such a place and expect them to come out and be better people, this is a breeding ground for homosexuals, drug dealers and addicts and who knows what other evil machinations take place behind those walls, even if there is a lack of rehabilitation centers, taking someone to such a place should be considered an infringement on their human rights, the parents, guardians or whoever is responsible for sending their relatives to such a place deserves to be prosecuted. LAWYERS take note. Those people's lives has been ruined, they deserve restitution.

the said center is a place where families send their delinquent kids for rehab. its not as if its somewhere hidden, it is in the open. its a sort of place which serves as the last resort for parents who want to get their kids back inline. its however a place where every stubborn kid dreads to ever be, no wonder its status as a threatening tool for parents of such kind of kids. it is devoid of any form of humanity, but who cares, this is Nigeria, we do things our way.

no matter where the world reach u better belief Northern Nigeria is at this level, this is no different with almajiri . am not in anyway saying this is right but parent fully aware and willingly took their Wards then what's d fault of the owner? kids are born in bundles and 50% are treated as trash in the north . take it or leave it

Just as an addition, I live in the core North and I understand the situation on ground. Regardless of their situation, there's no justification for this

this is not justifications in any way, in the north children are born anyhow so treated any how, the parent are fully aware of how d place is run, is not a hidden place as d media try to portray it, nope
accept it or not no matter where the world is in this 21st century north is still north. the punishment should go to the parents that couldn't take full responsibility of their Wards hence always looking for ways of disposing them , rehab, almajiri some even drop kids at orphanage when both parents are still available some pleads with welfare homes to take in their children.
