to be fully restored in a weeks time. To resume the line, Railway operator, East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) will utilize backup bullet trains to restore 80 percent of the normal timetable by Oct. 25. I don't know what this means to anyone who understands how long it takes this shithole to manage natural disasters. 1 Like |

EXLOVER: No we are not, and i have modified my post To add, it costs n47000 for one ticket on the Japanese bullet train for 7 days. If Nigeria Railways charges that kind of cost for tickets...you people would cry. It costs $10.6 bn to build 150 km of track for the same railways in Japan. (Our reserve is 40BN dollars). It costs far more than our reserve to maintain the thing. Add the fact that the things need electricity to run...and we are not generating enough electricity to power Lagos, talkess of a bullet train. 3 Likes |

The affected trains will be scrapped despite the undercarriage waterproof features. The operators fears the trains will not run safely after being submerged for a long period. Wow. This would be a different case in Nigeria. |

Or revenue generation/utilisation fidelity/government corruption rates versus Nigeria's? We should pay more tax so that your useless gods like Tinubu and the other political thieves would open new Swiss accounts to store billions, or so that your chief Tax Man Tunde Fowler would waste more billions on new 'yellow paw paw' slay queens? No make me vex abeg. Nigeria is not a serious country. |
