A report received from a town in Ondo state, indicates that a heavy Tragedy has struck in Okeagbe Akoko community in Akoko North West local government area of Ondo state yesterday, October 19th after a recognized 86-year-old man, Umoru Samuel, was pushed to his death while trying to separate his son and a neighbour who were fighting. Eyewitnesses at the scene, Pa Samuel heard his son and the neighbor, Leye Rufus, fighting and made his way outside to seperate them. Sadly, as he tried to stop the fight, Leye allegedly pushed him and he fell flat on his face. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was certified dead on arrival. Leye was so blinded by rage he didn't see an old man separating them! Of course, Baba's son killed him indirectly, by fighting when baba was around! Patience indeed is a virtue! |
