The monthly #5000 is not for youth but rather aged people. So nobody can indicate here. NSIP is real (from school feeding, npower, trader money, and this old age package ). Npower beneficiaries have been collecting stipends on monthly basis from December 2016 till date.

I agree with you. However, as an academic exercise, I'd like to note that there are many countries that give "free money" to citizens. The US has SSI/SSDI as a minimum income for people above 65 and older or disabled people. Brazil, Canada, etc. These countries have a clear, documented way of handing out these stipends to those who qualify.

The problem with this in Nigeria is that the government is not sincere. Who decided the beneficiaries? What criteria were used to identify the beneficiaries. In fact, who and where are the beneficiaries? And to know that this is a pseudo-scam, only 621K people are said to be beneficiaries, how about the millions of others out there?
