Chief Ebenezer Babatope, a former Minister of Transport on Saturday said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s performance in the management of Nigeria’s economy is nothing to write home about.

Babatope, a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also faulted the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Muhammad Sabo Nanono who said Nigerians are not hungry as the country is producing enough food to feed itself.

According to Babatope, Nanono is uninformed and has no knowledge about the situation of things in the country.

“The Minister is uninformed. He doesn’t know what he is talking about. Everybody knows the economy is in bad shape”.

“The APC government has not done well in the management of the economy. So, if the minister says Nigerians are not hungry, it shows he is not informed and he doesn’t know what he is talking about. If not, I don’t expect him to say Nigerians are not hungry” he said.
