EFCC and SARS won't arrest them. This this pure corruption.
Well, i think they kept photocopying the budget word to word. Just that they will change the amounts of money in it.
They didn't prepare a new budgets. Take it or leave it.

ciggy000:
This is always the problem when a country adopts incremental budgeting approach the best form of budgeting system remains zero based budgeting (ZBB) whereby every item of expenditure must be justified from the scratch for optimum allocation of scare resources. until this is done, the elites would keep enriching their pockets
The same zero budgeting was mouthed by APC in 2016 but on seeing the hardwork involved and how lazy they are, jettisoned it and returned to incremental budgeting. Clueless bunch!! angry

We are in technology Era. I don't know why our leaders can't make use of technology to track and document all these projects. Let there be a forum/app that will constitute all projects in the country. Government should announce the commencement of any new project there, Contractors should post pictures of work in progress of the projects there, citizens too can post and comment of any wrong doing about the project, monitor the project voluntarily and give updates. That way, nobody can lie about an existing or none existing project anymore because the process is now transparent.

I sell UK Men's shirts. Check my signature below for more details.

First of all, buhari will not understand d technology u are talking about.
Secondly, his "integrity" is all that is needed. It is enough technology

This should be the attitude of all citizens. This is the only way to get good governance. Refuse anymore sacrifices. Just see what is happening in Lebanon and Bolivia where goverments are already reforming.

We are just too ignorant and divided to develop.

It's a normal thing na. Check every year budget from the department and agencies of every ministry, it's same project with an increase in allocated amount. The lazy ones just copy and paste same thing while the smart ones change the location every year because they know the house/Senate committee incharge won't look into their angle for oversight visit especially after greasing their hands. So the committee eye just focus on the main ministry. Thats how they roll

Till people start going to jail for budget padding, I will know NASS is pissed because they were not bribed.

Politicians have kept us divided for so long so much so that we cannot see their greedy plots on the future of Nigeria.

Once we catch anyone of them embezzling money the next cry he would make would be... There are doing this because he is from so so region... And foolishly, we will lose all sense of reasoning and begin to fight ourselves.

The vicious circle goes round and round....
