So if the police can track cellphones of kidnappers, what stops them from tracking all the kidnappers when they make calls?
Or the Nigerian police is only for high profile Nigerians?

Cryptos are the easiest things to track

No sir. It's just an address. Although the place where the internet was last visited can be traced but then you can also easily fake location. It's not easy to trace. This is not the culprit

annoying enough, these criminals: kidnappers, armed robbers, cultists, etc., always appear and look malnourished, despite the money the make from their cursed illegal activities.

Look at this one for example.

This story doesn't add up nau, the headline is not even suspected, which court pronounced him guilty? Yet a police source confirms the guy knows nothing about bitcoin or owning an account. Yet his picture is everywhere. Lack of professionalism from both police and the media.

They can, but the problem is
1. Kidnapper may not necessarily use the phone in the same area where the victim is.

2. As we have seen in this case, someone bought a Sim from a stranger, used the Sim and has probably dumped it by now. Meanwhile, Mr stranger gets implicated

People involved in crime doesn't know it is easier now to track criminals nowadays, before SIM, BVN, NIN, VOTERS, PASSPORT registration database are combed.....they must have a clue.

Cryptos are the easiest things to track... how do you think you're anonymous when everything is decentralized?

They do not need any permit from a judge or security operative to follow your transactions...

Most nigerians even use Luno, a platform that will carry out stringent verification formalities.

Good thing they've been busted. They should say hi to Mompha for us.

This one was caught through mobile triangulation. However once you send crypto to an exchange site, the government can have them release information about that transaction.

How does that negate my own strategy of apprehending fraudsters or tracking crypto transactions?
