Opening Ceremony Of National Festival For Arts And Culture (NAFEST) by elitejosef: 7:56pm On Oct 22, 2019
Yesterday, I led members of my constituency to the opening ceremony of National Festival for Arts and Culture (NAFEST) which was held at the University of Benin sports complex.

Accompanied by cultural troupes, as well as the scintillating and overwhelming displays of the students of Shaka Momodu Polytechnic, Eghosa Grammar School and Niger College, we had a road show from Ramat park, through New Lagos road down to Ugbowo.

Indeed, the imperatives of our national life, fabricked by the concept of "Unity in Diversity" should always be the focal point at every chance of our national discuss.

It is very important we continue to use arts and culture as tool to unite the nation where the citizens shall see its cultural diversity as a source of strength.

It is my sincere prayer that amidst globalization, our cultural values and principles stay upheld as it remains the only remedy to our fast decaying morals and eroding value system.

Rt. Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen.
Member, House of Representatives,
Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency.
