I woke up this this morning to discover my phone (Huawei y9 2019) is on glo 4G even tho it doesn't support band 28 so my question is:, does glo have another network band or my phone just miraculously support band 28?

Glo now uses band 3 in some locations.

Yes, they upgraded to 4g LTE band 3 last month in some states of the federation. It simply means your phone supports band 3.

Not all areas are band 3 ready in Lagos ipaja is definitely not on the band yet but as soon as I get to Ikeja my Huawei y9 picks 4g but when at home is back to 3g
