I have always wondered if there was a proper way of disposing an old car, maybe like a car trash where people go to dump cars they no longer need. It was recently I learnt people trashed cars they no longer need by selling it as scrap to mechanics, iron scavengers etc. Now back to the topic, I noticed in my street and several other streets, roads in Lagos are crowded with abandoned vehicles. These vehicles sometimes cause difficulty in transporting on these roads because they take up a large chunk of space. I'm writing to seek enlightenment if the government is aware and is there a proper way or an authority these abandoned cars can be reported to. I wrote this in a haste please mods move to the appropriate section. |
