Igbo culture is different from Yoruba's culture. We respect you for your culture but it is an aberration for you to think everyone will have or observe culture that is similar to yours. Individual differences renders the common syllabus useless.

It may surprise you to know that many Igbo sons and daughters have been buried outside Nigeria. When it becomes necessary, we should allow the dead to be buried without controversy.

This comment is the reason why, believe it or not, all other ethnic groups in Nigeria find it very very hard to associate with igbos. Such a comment while not necessary in the context of an untimely and unfortunate incident, it is equally apalling by the number of those who deemed it worthy of liking. While there are fantastic people amongst the Igbo, there is no doubt,a significant and worryingly increasing number of igbos who in showing solidarity for their ethnicity, display a high level of insensitivity and bigotry quite similar to Hitler and his superior Aryan ideology on issues.

A brilliant mind dies in a plane crash, if not for the unfortunate incident, you probably would not have heard of him; a plane crash and the concomitant inferno burns all in it's path, leaving the agony of it's victims better imagined and all an insensitive Igbo man can say is about where he/she is buried.
