The "kingdom of God" is actually the reign of the Holy Spirit and the period is now and still going on. Christians and the church suffer because we are not giving the Holy Spirit His place.

Matthew 12:28 "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you."

At the rapture the Holy Spirit will depart with those He possessed. Satan through the anti-christ will reign for seven years and will cause great torment for those who did not accept Christ and did not allow the Holy Spirit to rule over them.

Christ will come to scene later on with the saints and will rule for one thousand years.

The three God in one all rule. God the father rule heaven (Acts 7:49). The Holy Spirit is ruling now and Christ will rule in the future during the millennial reign (Revelation 20:6).

Christ is currently standing on the right hand of God the Father waiting for his own turn to rule (Acts 7:56).

Matthew 12:28 "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you."

That scripture I posted explains it but you need to be discerning to detect it.

In the verse posted, Christ was telling the Pharisees that he cast out devils by the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) and not by Beelzebub (ruler of demons) as they claim (Matthew 12:24). Christ told them that if truly he cast out devil by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God was around them already even though they don't realize it. This was the kingdom Himself and John said was near at hand (Matthew 3:2).

Since Christ cast out devils by the Spirit of God and the kingdom of God is already around them, it is the arrival of the Spirit of God that brought kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit and the "kingdom of God" arrived at the Baptism of Jesus (Matthew 3:16). At that time, only Christ was in the kingdom. Christ told his followers it is important for him to go to Father and if He did not, He would not send the Holy Spirit which was already on Him (John 16:7). When Christ ascended, He sent the Holy Spirit to his apostles on the day of Pentecost as He had promised (Acts 2:1-4). It was that period the Holy Spirit and the kingdom of God began full operation.

To be part of the kingdom, you must be saved and be baptised in the Holy Spirit (John 3:5) and to be saved you must believe in Jesus first. When you become part of the kingdom of God, you will know it because there will be sudden changes in your life.

no,
Not this one, the one i quoted that you mentioned about the rapture and Satan through the Antichrist tormenting those that will not accept Christ, is there any scripture that explains it like that?

Revelation 13:16-17 KJV
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: [17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

No man will buy or sell till they have the mark of the beast. That will bring untold suffering and torment especially to those who refuse to take the mark who know fully well that if they do, they are domed forever.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 explains and describes how the rapture will be.

looking at the emboldened, don't you think that this scripture refers to bible days when men used to have slaves and sold slaves, that men of bible days will be caused to receive the mark of the beast by the Antichrist and not anyway referring to our current day when slavery are not common, talkless of our future where everyone are free?
That the Antichrist was in bible days where slavery was common and not our future, therefore we should not expect any coming of the Antichrist, that Antichrist was everywhere in bible days as Antichrists are people who denied Christ and persecute Christians in bible days?

1 John 2:22 says Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

That a lot of people denied Christ and persecute Christians in bible says?

Think you will understand.

No man will buy or sell till they have the mark of the beast. That will bring untold suffering and torment especially to those who refuse to take the mark who know fully well that if they do, they are domed forever.
if one should follow your line of thought, do you agree now that the scripture did not specifically says that those who do not accept Christ will be tormented by the Antichrist as you initially put it?
I understand your intention was to put fear in the minds of people to accept Christ, but that isn't the best way to get people accept Christ, to put the fear of the Antichrist in their minds.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 explains and describes how the rapture will be.
no, not rapture!
rather, it meant resurrection of the dead figuratively.
You know what it means to say something figuratively? It means making indirect state and that is what has confused us all these while in that scripture.
Infact, rapture was not mentioned anyway in that scripture.
If you look at the preceding scripture you will understand what Paul was driving at.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep(Christians who are dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others(non belivers) which have no hope.

So, he was talking about the resurrection of the dead and not rapture.

1. Reign of the Spirit of God? The reason your Christians and churches suffer has more to do with the truth that religion has nothing to do with that which is of God. undecided

2. I am afraid that the statement in bold is not of Scripture at all. undecided
