(2) 10 bags = 500kg
(3) 20 bags = 1000kg (which is 1 ton)
(4) 30 bags = 1,500kg ( which is 1.5,tonnes)

This government policies do not favour the average Nigerians.
A bag of rice is more than 20K.
Rice farming/production in Nigeria is lower than the demand for it and would always be expensive.
For now, WE ARE NOT self sufficient in rice farming/production.
Nobody told us we are SELF SUFFICIENT in cassava and yam farming because these crops do well in Nigeria than most places in the world.
Rice productions do well in Thailand,China etc more than in Nigeria.
So,what happened to comparative advantage?

Nigeria needs long term economic planning for the future. Not this type that adversely affect the masses.
We do not forget that Nigeria is the headquarters of poverty in the world. Therefore, most people cannot afford the basic needs of life.
This government offers more pains than any other previous governments with poor economic planning.



Should all Nigerians have your kind of mindset, we will never make progress as a nation. Most people cannot afford basic needs because we are import reliant and that's the trend Buhari's policy is trying to change. Thank God the man is a focused man because, trying to carry people like you along is going to be impossible. You know what? Relax and watch what Nigerians will be benefiting on the long run.

You aren't correct. 1500 tons is actually 1,500,000 (1.5m) kg and that should give you about 30,000 bags per day (at 50kg per bag).

1 Tonne = 1,000 Kg

Therefore, 1,520 Tonnes = 1,520×1,000 = 1,520,000 Kg.

Converting to bags of 50Kg each = 1,520,000 ÷50 = 30,400 bags.

Nigeria as a nation do not willfully change its own dire condition until we are forced to do it without an alternative.

Thats the reason I keep saying that a good Military government is the best that can fix this country. Any progressive nation always use the best system of governance for its people. China, Gulf countries, United state, U.k, all practice different form of governance that best fits his people.
