The issue of controversy is not about the COS like an errand boy taking a bill to Buhari in London to sign. What is at stake is did Buhari hand over powers to the VP in acting capacity in line with the constitution..If the answer is NO, Osinbajo is seen as irrelevant in this government most especially now that he has been stripped of control over the economy.

Trust PMB. From the happenings of last time, the appointments and the sackings which didn't go down well with the President and the fact that the masses seems to like PYO more than PMB will make him never wanna do such again.

Especially if he won't be staying that long. And this is allowed technically.

But the country is on autopilot any way and has been since 2015.

There isn't future for this nation... At least not that i can see... Imagine a young lawmaker that we thought might be well informed than the senile and old ones saying this trash... Akin Alabi has forgotten that there is a wide gap between what it is and what it ought to be..

It is so disheartening that our very own lawmakers don't have no knowledge of the law and his common sense didn't permit for him to think through his statement... We live in a precarious times that needs rationale, inspirational and unsentimental leaders to take up the responsibility of taking this nation forward and not because you made money from business makes you a worthy lawmaker... We need charismatic leaders in this country not money buy power.

In any presidential system of government, the chief of staff most times can be very influential been the closest person to the president in line of duty. But that doesn't make him more powerful than the Vice President, The Vice President is elected by the people and only the people can remove him but the Chief of Staff is just a product of discretion for administrative convenience.

The koko be say, this BILL that will move the nation forward has been signed by our darling President.

WTF, is wrong with wailers and the enemies of the nation about who took it to the president to sign?
Why are these people just mad and stupid unnecessary?

We are 100% sure that over 90% of these criminals crying do not even know what the bill entails.
All they are after is to cause rift between Baba and Prof for their selfish political interest come 2023.

This Alibi, a law maker stating that the Vice President who contested for an election is constitutionally an errand boy for Buhari and that the chief of staff is a better constitutional running mate... this is madness

Just negodu how someone (Akin Alabi) who his parents spent their hard earned cash to send to school for years and a whole constituency trusts to represent their interests is showing the world that he’s a waste pipe! Chai! May the good Lord not let our children after struggling to train them end up as mere praise singers and sycophants IJN! grin

Nothing rises above leadership, Buhari is not a leader hence everything is upside down. God will see us through, 2023 is not far again. We shall overcome.

This is what happens when a lawmaker doesn't even know the law.
he wants to argue with senior advocates that knows everything about the law.
me am not even saying the COS cannot carry any bill to the president o whether he is inside a cave, underwater or in the space.
but my own now is the vice president is number two in the country and next to the president and so should have been able to sign the bill self in the president's absence, and if its not lawful then we wait until the so called president comes back. because no one can expect the vice president to take the bill to the president in london. they can never both be away from the country at the same time.
when its not a bilateral deals with two nations, why will they carry Nigeria bill to go and sign in another country in the first place, what's wrong with this nation self.

I'm just shock that some persons can be so dumb.. He said VP is stand in (when the president is either absent or not available. ) Now our president is not available, not present. that's where the stand in comes into play. What is this one defending.. Some people eh.. trying to justify a wrong action..
