Osunbande like his master Tinubu has perfected the art of silence just like his master Tinubu. But their silence is very loud and clear!

The cabal is the current face of the northern oligarchy. There agenda is nothing but to whittle the influence of SW before the next election as they have no intention to give it up to SW APC.

Tinubu is their target in all these.. they don't mind him having ambitions but they are not going to allow him use state resources to further his ambition via osunbande's office.

The whole essense of osunbande been VP was to have the way for a tinubu's presidency.

Anyone whoever thought Tinubu would sit by for osunbande to become president needs to check his head.

If Tinubu ever allows that, is he ready to loose his Yoruba messiah image to one of his own creations?

Very good move by President Buhari. How can one man have 80 aides? 80 How can a VP have 80 aides, is he the ruler of the universe grin. Even President Buhari should not have 80 aides. So Buhari allowed his VP to have 80 aides, whose salaries are being paid from national coffers, imagine the level of wastefulness. By the time Buhari is done in 2023, I hope the Nigerian economy won't be dragging space with Zimbabwe. Put massive corruption aside, GEJ economy is 1000 times better than Buhari economy. Fuel was 97 per liter and GEJ was paying subsidies, Buhari called it a scam. Now buhari has made fuel 145 and he is still paying more subsidies than GEJ did. Later he will call himself Mr anti-corruption, mtshewwwww! Who is the real scam now?
You lie. It's 32 sides and NOT 80 as you claimed. Those 32 were the ones working under the social investment programme. Always get your facts right sir.

Why am I not surprised, I think the dismissal or sack as the case maybe is well deserved when they have converted the seat of government to their village meeting all you hear there is the local dialect....thesame should be extended to the president.

For Christ sakes the seat of government should be a place for serious national business not some ethnic art theatre.

Meanwhile who can reconcile this discrepancy

The source privy to the development said that the aides were surprised to understand that President Buhari had given approval for their disengagement, having been told that Vice President Osinbajo had intervened in the matter.

Speaking further, the source said that President Buhari may not have been aware of the development since the vice president is still waiting for the return of Mr. President to resolve the issue.

Don't be deceived. Read today's edition of the major newspapers and you'd find the news caption widely printed on the front pages. I guess you're one of those thinking everything is right with the VP. He's my brother and I dont like the way he's being treated from day one, from elrufai intimidation to that of aba kyari and the shutting of aso vila chapel's door against him on sundays ,whilst leaving the mosque doors widely open on fridays. This is very wrong and we cannot coexist in a situation like this . Truth be told. No nation succeeds where ethnicity and religion take precedence.

Analysis of what happened

*Osinbajo Initiated Social Investment Program SIP when Buhari was in London and he was an Acting President
*Since SIP was a tasking job and has no Ministry or Agency with full office staff and workforce, Osinbajo apointed 130 Presidential Aides to run SIP with him
*80 of this aides are not on Government Payroll but funded from various donor agencies
*In 2019, President Buhari made a speech thanking and appreciating Prof Osinbajo in creating the succesfull SIP even when he Buhari was skeptical about its succes and when oppositions where calling it vote buying
*Buhari decided to make the SIP an agency under the new Ministry of Humanitarian Affiars with full staffs and nationwide workforce
*After relocating SIP, about 35 Aides became redundant in AsoRock and draw salaries monthly hence thier sack.. with atleast 300% annual salary as serverance package among other pecks

Have you sat down to think what purpose the aides could be serving?
For example, there are hundreds of letters written to the president, and vice daily. Who reads them?
There are agencies and departments of govt that report to the Vice. Do you think the Vice president can coordinate all of them without any filter in-between?

The ministries alone number about 30. Do you think each ministry just calls up the VP directly each time he is needed?

You should be glad you have a VP who has 80 aides. That shows he is really working, as opposed to ceremonial heads who just sit and plot ways to loot.

But he said recently that he was willing to give up his immunity to give way for a thorough investigation into the allegation leveled against him. No leader in the history of nigeria has gone that far. Many that have come and gone would rather keep quiet and overlook such allegations instead of speaking up.

And he has gone silent since then. He toyed with your mind.

The cabal have finally decided to clip the wings of Osunbande the aso rock errand boy. I doubt if Osunbande can even give an order to corporal Adamu doing sentry at the gate without that one reminding him that he is just a mere commissioner. Will he have the integrity to resign and save himself further humiliation or he will ride out the next three years pretending everything is ok remain to be seen.

Piggiiiddddiotttts will make it look like all of Osinbajo's 80 aides were sacked. Only 35 were!

When we're talking about reducing the cost of governance, we're not referring to cutting necessary staff. Rather we want ghost workers removed. We want senators' salaries slashed.

There's no tension, right?

Elrufai intimidated Osinbajo on several occasions and the matter was reported to Buhari who didn't do anything.

Aso vila chapel was shut on a couple of occasions, but Osinbajo didn't react. Thanks to gowon and danjuma's intervention.

Osinbajo was removed as the head of the economic team, yet he didn't react

Buhari sacked his 32 aides working under the programme set up by the apc to oversee poverty eradication yet, you're saying no tension?

Osinbajo was wrongly accused of corruption, which osinbajo himself frowned at, vowing to waive his immunity to allow for proper investigation, yet you're saying no tension?

2 bills were taken to the UK this werk for signing by Buhari in his private residence in the UK, when we has a substantive VP who could have acted on his behalf and you're there saying no tension? This is appaling lipsrsealed

He began to have it rough since the day he sacked Daura, the DSS boss on the account of corruption which fulanis, including Buhari wasn't happy about but pretended as if he's cool by the VP's decision.

Let the VP speak and we will believe. I'm glad you acknowledged the fact that the VP has not spoken.

The truth my brother. But evil people everywhere always hoping for disaster to happen. They will ignore your post because it is not sweet in their mischievous ears. Their prayer is always for trouble and their badge is hate and their mission and vision are disharmony, upheavals and crises.

I blame Osinbajo for accepting to be VP in the first place. Tinubu's hand sef don fall. Useless man who only thinks if his pocket. His relevance is vanishing already amongst us. Nobody pitches his tent with fulanis has ever had it smooth because they believe they own Nigeria. I pray God's wish prevails in this nation...these guys have caused us more than enough setbacks.

We are world's HQ of poverty today, no thanks to the fulanis who neglected education and were busy rearing children like cows then abandoning them afterwards to start begging.

We are one of the nations with the lowest ranking on security, no thanks to fulanis who abandoned western education and were busy promoting islamic education even when the sheik of saudi Arabia, the world HQ of Islam schooled in the west. The current one is a graduate of a famous university in the USA. Fulani kept promoting only islamic education when other regions were counterbalancing both western and Islamic education and their regions have been better for it . Those neglected fulani kids of those days are now the boko haram terrorists of today.
They are not only rearing their children as cows but rearing their cows as children. What a twist!
