It is probably the only sector where they can easily misappropriate without any pressure.

Nobody would feel it in a state like kano.
At least he's better than your governor.el rufai was the first to budget 25% for education now ganduje almost meeting the unesco target of 26%.they are the best in nigeria.when our leaders carry out good initiatives, you commend tyem.its not everything that you must criticize.you are so used to negativity that you have forgotten how to commend or applaud good policies

This union called Nigeria is fundamentally flawed.

Haters, never want to hear any good news about the North. Hypocritical bigots. FYI, kano has 4 universities and more than 10 higher institutions of study.

It still wont reduce the "Chip whip" fellows & increase literacy in kano.

The north is very backward sha, they've produced over 95 percent of nigeria's presidents.
They've always had the highest number of governors, senators, reps etc - but they still remain a sorry case.

They made nigeria the sh!thole it is today.

North ko, nought ni...

If they are what you described them, and they still rule you the educated ones.Who is more foolish?

RTSC:
It would have been impressive if it was a trust Worthy Governor.

How much of that 25% is actually going to education and not to gandollar and his cronies.?

No, it should be used to sponsor shukwudis and okoros abroad to go deverop Asian countries cheesy
So you don't believe that a yoruba or any another man from another tribe can make such comment.

must you atribute every negative comment to the Igbos?

if you can't pronouns a name very well, don't go about rubbishing other tribe's name because it's not the Igbos that caused your inability to differentiate between /sh/ and /ch/

it's chukwudi and not shukwudi.

Highly commendable.

The federal government should follow suit, and encourage other states to do likewise.

Even if it takes a gradual improvement spanning the next 4 years.

Islam is the only reason God let u live. Jesus Christ was the first said God in history that came with anus and penix, believe me if i tell u being educated as u use to claim is less than being mad man,it's only insane man that would believe a God can have penix and anusto add more goes to toilet to urinate and defeacate. Nobody on Earth can say i lied, even idol worshippers do not scrape genitals on their idols,a God never eat talkless of working in to toilet like Jesus did,a true God never cry, never die, never leave the throne for 3 days without even a monitor or prefect to look after ogogoro drinkers like u. The kind of ur education is full of puke matters,u eat any living creature on Earth from ants to human being, donkey, dogs, monkeys, apes, maggots, frogs, pigs, snails, cartepillar, hyena, flies and almost all reptiles,u are smelling from blood that's why no treatment on Earth can make u smell good but u know u can not smell ur self but for us we better wash and drink almajiri clothing than sleep on ur used cloths,we washed a dish that u people use once atleat seven times with detergent and sand because a dogs mouth is pure than urs,u use toilet paper to wipe ur ass leaving almost 30 percent of shitt debris on to ur crotch and cloths that's why it's hard in our area to get a Muslim who washes Christian cloths. Ur mother's and father's can fvck ur sisters, aunties, grand parent in the name of being educated and civilized,ur women uses mini skirt not knowing the western world that use that fits them not the way ur women who have 30 kg puffy legs like yam,a woman just no different from a man. Only an insane person can drink alcohol, fvck his sisters and mother's,dance and sing in the name of worship would even think if he dies he would be in heaven as if God is ur uncle,God is not obasanjo and u need to know there is no way a God can come out through vagina, never we dnt believe in that because it's a massive disgrace.

This is exactly how the UN recommended it to be cos they understand that education is the key to the future but the Federal government has never implemented such.

Commendable?
Kano needs to invest more in Education, Health care and security. Infrastructural development,
Kano needs be the capital hub of northern part, considering their population, if they utilize the resources well, that state alone can generate huge revenue with waiting on bail out funds or World bank Grants like they always do
